1. Repair the scratches of the blanket

Regarding the repair of blanket dents, it was introduced as early as 2003 in the “Printing Technology” magazine, and two methods of blanket reducing agent and double-sided tape paper can be used. The above two methods will affect the quality of goods to varying degrees. Then came a good way to replace them with Scotch tape. In practice, the same is to first remove the rolled blanket, mark it, and then use scissors to cut a small piece of scotch tape slightly larger than the rolling mark and stick it directly at the mark. Because the Transparent Tape is very thin, the thickness is only about four wires. If one layer is not enough, you can add another layer or two layers, but you should cut small points in order so that there are no hard openings on the edges, and then install the blanket. . The advantage of choosing this method is that the size and shape of the transparent tape are determined by the rolling marks, and it will be successful as soon as it is cut and pasted.

2. Posting the trailing crack of the printing plate

In the manual plate-loading machine, because the tightening screws may not be tightened, after thousands or tens of thousands of sheets are printed, the trailing tip of the printing plate will show a crack and gradually increase, until the operator is forced to change the plate, causing certain waste. In this case, it is not necessary to change the plate, but first wipe the ink and water stains at the tip of the plate, and then use a wide scotch tape to directly stick the plate crack together with the plate clamp. In this way, printing can still be continued without affecting the quality of the product at all. Of course, this method is best for timely operation when the printing plate is just cracked. If the crack is too long, it cannot be attached completely by transparent tape. There is really no delay, and the version has to be changed.

3. Deal with the scratches of the drawing gauge on the graphic part
We know that when the pull gauge is positioning the paper, the paper is pulled by the pull gauge ball on the pull gauge bar. Because of the effect of the pressure spring force of the pull gauge and the rough grooves on the surface of the pull gauge bar, a shallow scratch will be left on the reverse side of the paper at the moment of the action. This has no effect on white paper, but for the printed product that has been printed on one side to be reversed, if the graphic of the printed product is just below the position of the pull gauge ball, it will definitely be scratched, which will affect the quality of the product. Influence. In particular, some high-end picture albums, samples, and covers are all large-format pictures and texts. Once there are scratches, the goods may be scrapped. To this end, you can try to stick a small piece of transparent tape on the pull gauge to reduce the friction of the grooved pull gauge to the printed image and text, thereby eliminating scratches. In this way, seemingly complicated questions are easily dealt with.
